It’s A Sign!

The Waypoints of Route One reveal interesting  stories and we encourage you to read part one of Jim Miller’s series (pg. 58). While you’re at it, see if you can spot the four Route One road signs we’ve hidden in this issue.  Tell us the four page numbers you find the signs and you could win a cool prize. Email your answers with the subject line: I Found the Signs by June 17 to Contact@TSNPub.com. We will choose three winners from correct submissions.

Last month’s winners: Douglas Campbell, Dorothy Mangum, Stephanie Traynor. The bus was on pages 29, 31, 43 and 53.

Lessons Beyond The Ballfield

Local author John Riddle has released More Than a Game: Life Lessons from the Baseball Field, a new collection of stories inspired by the baseball experiences of his grandsons. The book explores lessons of teamwork, resilience, and personal growth learned through youth sports. “Baseball is just the setting,” Riddle said. “The real story is about becoming who you’re meant to be.  It’s about showing up, putting in the effort, and learning from every experience, on and off the field.” The title, Riddle’s 42nd book and eighth self-published release, is available now on Amazon.
