Pretty Eddie’s Market Open in Downtown Wilmington

Buccini Pollin Group celebrated the December opening of Pretty Eddie’s, downtown Wilmington’s first walkable neighborhood grocery store, at 730 N. Market Street. Designed with extensive community input, the 2,000-square-foot market offers fresh produce, deli meats and cheeses, pantry staples, frozen goods, and an array of grab-and-go options, including sandwiches, salads, rotisserie chicken, and a coffee bar featuring Golden Valley Farms. Shoppers can also join “The Pretty Chicken Club,” where they can earn a free rotisserie chicken after ten purchases.

Pretty Eddie’s has partnered with ShopRite to leverage the supermarket’s scale and merchandising expertise, ensuring its shelves are stocked with high-quality products at affordable prices. Additionally, the store spotlights a wide range of locally sourced products, creating a platform for area makers to reach a wider audience. These vendors were sourced with the help of Artisan Exchange and Wilmington Kitchen Collective, two local programs that offer affordable food manufacturing and commercial kitchen space for entrepreneurs.

Pretty Eddie’s is open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday to Saturday, and 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Sunday. Local vendors can also apply online to have their products featured in-store.
