Reeds Refuge Center, the nonprofit on Pine Street in Wilmington that helps at-risk kids grow through the performing arts in a secure, nurturing environment, premiered a major video at World Cafe Live at The Queen on Nov. 22. The video, Believe, was created as a collaboration between 105 local children and artists in Wilmington, with varying socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds, celebrating unity and oneness. The premiere included live performances by the children and artists who participated in the creation of Believe. “This project will show that children and adults from all walks
of life can come together in unity, breaking the racial barriers that divide us,” says founder Fred Reed.
