Typesetting is included with cost of display advertisement. There is no charge for reproduction of logo and line art. Advertisements to include photograph will receive halftone creation charge of $10 per photograph. High-quality, black-and-white photos requested. (Please notify sales representative if artwork/photographs are to be returned. Materials are not automatically returned.)

The use of heavy reversed areas in display ads is discouraged. The reproduction quality of reverses, overprints and screens is never guaranteed. No screen prints less than 20% should be submitted.

Advertisements to appear on newsprint pages require screens of 85 line for screen prints and veloxes and 100 line for film negatives. Ads to appear on coated stock (cover pages) require screens of 133 line. Negative requirements: All film should be right-reading, emulsion side down, negatives. All four-color ads must include a color proof with crop and register marks.
